John
Guitar/Bass/Ukulele
John has been teaching and running the school full-time since 2009, the same year he graduated from The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance.
As well as teaching and running a YouTube channel (JT Guitar), John has performed and recorded for film and television. He was also invited to write songs for Kylie Minogue and Alexandra Burke. You may also have heard John recently as he was the “Lead Ukulele Player” on Lupas Film’s We’re Going On A Bear Hunt. A Channel 4 Film adaption of the book by Michael Rosen.
Matt
Drums/Percussion
Matt has been playing drums for over 20 years. He is a graduate from the world famous Drum Tech Conservatoire where he achieved a diploma in performance and has been teaching music full-time since.
He has been fortunate enough to play in countless bands, recording and touring across the UK. He performs regularly in function and covers bands across the south of England.
Cyrus
Guitar & Ukulele
Cyrus graduated from the University of Chichester Conservatoire with a degree in Music Performance, where he specialised in Pop/Rock Guitar.
Cyrus is a full time musician, dividing his time between performing, teaching and writing.
Hannah
Piano
Hannah graduated from King’s College London with a first-class BA Honors degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Music.
She is a calm and encouraging piano teacher. She has taught students of various ages and abilities, including those with additional needs. Parents of students have described her teaching style as ‘student-centered, facilitating a real passion for music’. Alongside piano teaching, Hannah delivers in-school therapeutic music sessions for the charity CHUMS.
James
Piano
James received a diploma of higher education at ‘Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance’ in Music Composition and Performance.
He then graduated with a first class BSc Hons degree from the University of
Hertfordshire in Music Composition and Technology for Film and Games.
Molly
Vocals/Piano
Molly started Piano and Viola lessons at age 5 and singing lessons at age 12. She is vocally trained in Musical Theatre, Classical and Rock & Pop to a grade 8 standard. She also plays the Piano and Viola to grade 8 and 7 standards respectively.
Molly is passionate about performing and is currently training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She has been in many shows as both main roles and part of the ensemble; her favourite show that she has been in was Les Miserables. She was part of a local drama group for 8 years and volunteered as a teacher for 3 years where she would lead workshops, improvisations and teach songs and dance routines.
